Our group is responsible for providing medical support for the BP MS150.
We are a group of volunteer medical personnel who donate our time to provide medical support for the BP MS150 Bike Ride. We provide support at breakpoints, along the route, La Grange overnight, and Austin finish. We do not ride bikes for the event, those are the Bike Medics.
The ride is a two-day fundraising cycling ride organized by the South Central Region of the National MS Society. The ride is the largest event of its kind in North America. In 2015, the event raised more than $20 million for multiple sclerosis research and programs.
Approximately 13,000 riders participate in the ride each year as a personal challenge to help make the world free of multiple sclerosis. The funds raised support the funding of vital services, programs and MS research to those living with MS.
If you are a medical professional (emt, paramedic, nurse, doctor, physician assistant, etc.) and would like to donate your time for such a wonderful cause please go to our contact page to send us a message or sign up as a volunteer.
Sign Up for the 2017 event (April 29-30, 2017) is expected to open by mid-October. Check back for updates.
